December 2009 DD 51 Report
Worthy Grand Knight, Council Officers, Father, FDD,
PGK’s, and Brothers at all levels of involvement,
There are a few items of interest going on throughout the
district.
Before I mention these I need your help. If there is anything
that your council is planning, email the info to me before the
1st Wednesday of that month so that I can bring it to the
rest of the councils in the district.
Due to a lack of votes in favor of same sex marriage, the New
Jersey State Senate cancelled the vote as scheduled on
Thursday, December 10th, 2009. A vote, however, could still
take place at any point up until January 12, 2010. We must
continue to call the senators and voice our opinions.
As of today there are no 1st or 2nd Degrees scheduled in the
area. We have some discussion going on about holding a 1st
& 2nd Degree in the area. I will let your Grand Knight
know as soon as the details are ironed out.
